2021 NORTHEAST-10 OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR (COACHES): EJ Burgess, Franklin Pierce,...Franklin Pierce junior running back EJ Burgess was named NE10 Offensive Player of the Year, after rushing for 117.9 yards and eight touchdowns in league play this season. Burgess added 17 receptions for 240 yards and a score. Burgess was the engine in the Ravens' offense, with a standout performance of 21 rushes, 149 yards (7.1 yards per carry) and three touchdowns against Southern Connecticut on Oct. 23. It is the first major award won by a Franklin Pierce player since the program joined the Division II ranks in 2019. - Northeast-10 Conference Football

Two of his three picks happened in the second half, his pick-six came midway through the third quarter as he went 56 yards for the only touchdown of the afternoon for Pierce.
